Brief Introduction:
A monsoon is an atmospheric phenomenon mainly accompanied by precipitation due to the seasonal reversal of the wind and differential heating of the land and ocean. It is the primary weather-governing phenomenon in large parts of Asia. It is prevalent in both summer and winter seasons, however, the summer monsoon has the most impact on human lives, global weather, and water budget. The summer monsoon in Asia has different branches, such as the South Asian Monsoon, East Asian Monsoon, and Western North Pacific Monsoon. Other parts of the world also have their own monsoons, such as the Australian Monsoon and the South American Monsoon.
